Ginella European Warranty

Ginella jewellery is created with care and high quality standards.
This European warranty applies to purchases within the European Union and clearly explains how different situations are handled.

What the Ginella warranty covers

This warranty applies to manufacturing and assembly defects and also offers fair solutions for issues caused during use.

Each case is reviewed individually, taking into account the nature of the damage, repair feasibility, and proportionality of costs.

Case 1 — Manufacturing defect (Ginella responsibility)

A manufacturing defect includes:

  • damaged or broken clasp;

  • opened or faulty connecting ring;

  • loosened knot or structural failure;

  • any other defect caused during the manufacturing or assembly process.

How the issue is resolved:

  1. The customer submits photo or video evidence clearly showing the defect.

  2. After confirmation, Ginella sends a new, identical piece of jewellery.

  3. Shipping is carried out using standard (economy) delivery.

  4. The defective item does not need to be returned.

The customer incurs no additional costs.

Case 2 — Damage caused by use or external factors (customer responsibility)

Customer responsibility includes:

  • mechanical damage (torn elements, bent shape, broken parts);

  • damage caused by improper use, moisture, chemicals, or physical stress;

  • natural wear and tear of the jewellery.

In these cases, free warranty repair is not provided. However, Ginella offers several fair and flexible solutions.

  • the damaged item does not need to be returned.

B. Purchase of a new item with a special discount

  • the customer may purchase the same item with a significant discount (typically 50–70%);

  • shipping is paid separately or included, depending on the situation.

C. Partial refund

  • if the jewellery remains functional but has a visual defect;

  • Ginella may offer partial compensation in the form of a discount for a future purchase.

D. Repair in Latvia (by agreement)

  • the customer sends the jewellery to Latvia at their own shipping expense;

  • Ginella carries out the repair;

  • return shipping is covered:

This option is used only in exceptional cases, taking into account repair feasibility and proportionality of costs.

How to submit a warranty request

  • Please upload clear photos of the defect (up to 3 images).

  • We currently accept photos only (no video uploads). If needed, we may request additional details by email.
